Lavender, a herb with many culinary uses, also makes a stunning addition to borders and perennial gardens, providing sweeping drifts of colour from early summer into fall. With its silvery-green foliage, upright flower spikes and compact shrub-like form, lavender is ideal for planters.

Care

LIGHT
Prefers full sun but can adapt to part shade.

WATER
Keep moist over the warmer months. Reduce watering in the cooler months and allow the plant to dry longer between watering. 

NUTRIENTS
Feed with slow-release native fertiliser once every six months (refers to packaging for dosage). In the warmer months, feed once or twice with a liquid fertiliser.

IDEAL TEMPERATURE
Cool to warm.
