Maintain your plants like The Plant Society Plant Butlers!

Leather Handled Secateurs / Wood Handled Secateurs

One of our best-sellers at our Collingwood Flagship. You’ll use these regularly to prune and trim leaves and branches and propagate. From experience, plastic-handled secateurs break more easily, so we prefer to spend a little more on a good -quality pair. Keep them clean and sterilised by wiping or rinsing off any excess soil or debris, then soak them for ten minutes in a detergent solution (1 cup dishwashing detergent to 4 litres of water) to ensure diseases and pests aren’t transferred between plants. Rinse with water after soaking.

Neem Oil Spray

When it comes to pest and disease control, we prefer to use natural methods. Our Plant Butlers usually use our own Neem oil pesticide recipe but this is an easy and nice option for the Home Planter Butler. Spray directly onto foliage or on to any pests present, wipe with a soft cloth. Do not apply if or when direct sunlight is on foliage.

Indoor Plant Soil Food

When it comes to potted plants, it is vital they get the best nutrients from the potting medium they live in. This is made especially for Indoor Plants. It nourishes and rebalances the soil with up to 100 minerals giving new life and enhancing the nutrients your plants’ digest. Spread a fine layer around the base of the soil (1 teaspoon every two months). For best results, combine with the potting mix before planting.
